The Genesis Group announced today that it has received a Congressional Honor from area Congressman Michael Arcuri. The proclamation acknowledges and congratulates the organization on its 10th Anniversary.

Raymond J. Durso, Jr., executive director says " the organization is grateful for the honor and appreciates the recognition from Congressman Arcuri'." The Genesis Group has worked hard over the last ten years to transform the Mohawk Valley into a vital region where positive economic, social and quality of life change are possible, Durso added.

The Genesis Group is a group of community volunteers that unite individuals and organizations who are dedicated to creating positive regional impact in the Mohawk Valley.
